Danzon came from far back, split horses, and drew off to win the Kentucky Cup Distaff (G3) by five lengths, the widest margin of victory on the day. The Distaff was the second 2007 Kentucky Cup win for jockey Julien Leparoux, who one race earlier won the Juvenile. |

Julien Leparoux earned the first of two Kentucky Cup wins by guiding Texas Fever (8) to a well managed neck victory over Chitoz in the Juvenile (G3). Leparoux had two additional wins on the undercard. |
