We work with approved adoption agencies to transition racehorses to new homes. If a horse in your shedrow is ready to retire, call (859) 647-4842 for agency information or to access the surrender stall at Turfway.

Stakes Schedule
Schedule includes closing dates, nomination forms, nominations, nomination PPs, and histories.
Entry Schedule & Deadlines
February and March: Enter Tuesday for Friday. Enter Wednesday for Saturday.
Entries will not close before 10:00am ET daily. Riders must be named by close of entries.
Scratch Time & Also-Eligibles
Scratch time is 9:00am ET two days before the race. Also-eligibles, if any, may move into the race in order of preference.
Early Cancellations
Trainers shipping before 8:00am ET during adverse weather/road conditions may contact the Stable Gate (859-647-4883) to confirm cancellation. After 8:00am, contact the racing office.

Turfway Park meetings are conducted under the supervision of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and are licensed by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. The rules of racing adopted by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission govern all races under the auspices of Turfway Park.
